Along with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I am also a graduate of the Addiction Studies Program approved by the California Consortium of Addiction Programs. I am delighted to wake up every morning with an opportunity to save a life from the disease of addiction. My inspiration to help individuals suffering from this disease comes from my own personal experience of growing up in a household with both parents struggling with their own addictions. As a result of their illness, it caused me to become helpless and depleted from battling their difficulties in life. Thus, throughout my journey to become a Substance Abuse Counselor, my genuineness, patience, and compassion will leave an imprint on individuals’ hearts in hopes to inspire their desire for change.
