I got into this field because I wanted to give back what was given to me 12 years ago. I didn’t realize, when I first overcame my addiction, just how important it is to be given the tools and to be shown how to use them to have the life I deserved. I attended the “Addiction Studies” program at Pierce College; I immediately got hired in treatment in 2013 and have had numerous rolls from a technician to Operations Assistant and everything in between. I stay in this field because I love seeing our clients get the light back in their eyes. We ALL deserve a second chance.
